Who Would Be A Good Fit?

We are looking for a key leader. Someone who wants to build something bigger than themselves, while championing our credo of balanced intensity.

A degree is not essential, we are looking for someone who:

  • Can contribute to a key vertical at Without, with 1 to 3 years of work experience related to business development and growth (not more, and some management experience is a nice bonus).
  • Comfortable selling, building and nurturing B2B relationships, and interacting with clients offline and online.
  • Someone proficient in English with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Should be super-proficient in Excel (and ideally, some basic Powerpoint) and have experience working with CRMs and lead management software.
  • Is aligned with Without's vision, mission, and guiding principles, with high integrity - not looking for slimy sales.
  • Embodies our values of Truth, Grit, and Optimism.
  • Loves to solve complex problems while embracing uncertainty.
  • Is flexible at work, and open to doing even the smallest tasks.
  • Someone who's a self starter and hungry to grow, learn and achieve. We only hire "doers" who are looking to grow as an individual on a technical and personal level.
  • Someone looking to start at the earliest.

You will:

  • Business Development: Identify, engage, and secure new business opportunities that align with our mission of sustainable manufacturing. Your focus will be on developing relationships with small to medium-sized brands, particularly in the niches of sustainable eyewear, signage, pet accessories, and other promising sectors.
  • Sales and CRM Management: Manage your entire sales pipeline, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring that client relationships are nurtured and maintained. Utilize CRM tools to optimize the sales process, and ensure that all interactions reflect Without’s commitment to transparency, quality, and impact.
  • Social Media Marketing: Work closely with the Growth team for developing and executing data-driven strategies across various platforms to increase brand awareness, attract potential customers, and enhance community engagement. Manage content creation, monitor campaign performance, optimize social media channels, and use analytics to achieve growth targets.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, particularly in sustainable manufacturing and circular economy practices. Use these insights to inform growth strategies, ensuring Without stays ahead in the rapidly evolving market for sustainable materials.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, and manufacturing, to ensure that product development and market strategies are aligned. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and leverages the strengths of each team member.
  • Client Communication and Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations that communicate the value proposition of Without’s products and services. You will be responsible for ensuring that our brand’s story—combining head and heart, technology and social impact—is effectively communicated to potential clients and partners.
  • Product and Brand Advocacy: Act as an ambassador for Without, ensuring that our values of truth, grit, and optimism are reflected in all business activities. Advocate for the integration of Without’s sustainable materials in client products, and promote the “Powered by Without” brand as a mark of quality and sustainability.

Your compensation:

Taking into consideration that this is a key position:

  • A fair, competitive market-based compensation package with upside for sales.
  • Stock Options (ESOPS) in the legal entity that vests over an agreed-to tenure.
  • A 3-month mutual incubation period. Both you and we will have the option to end the agreement after three months if it isn’t working out.
  • We provide benefits such as health insurance, flexible work hours (including unmonitored vacation) and Provident Fund contributions.
  • We believe in a non-hierarchical type of management where nobody fully reports to anybody, but instead, we hold each other accountable to outcomes and processes.
